方鳞绿塔，是宝塔状的多肉植物，是青锁龙属宝塔状叶片的代表。叶片部分时间都是绿色，温差增大、日照充足时变红，某些地区甚至会整株变红。怕下架闷湿的环境，夏季休眠明显，温度过高时一定要注意断水，增加通风，稍不注意就会腐烂。也可半阴养护，每天保持1小时日照即可，如果完全无光，缺少光线时间过长，叶片就会拉长，徒长的很不好看。
